Sleep Disorder

Have you ever been bothered by snoring during bedtime? Well, that is my husband. He can easily put himself to sleep just be simply laying down in bed. He is not an outgoing person. He goes out to work daily and go straight home after office. He’s the typical couch potato. He’d rather stay at home, watch his animes, do his gundam project. At bedtime, he’d sarcastically stare at me while I am putting the best acne cream for my pimples. He’d always say it’s the best, because he had seen me tried all the best and is still wondering why I haven’t found it. Makes me laugh just by thinking about it.

My biggest problem is, even after all the evening ceremonies of detoxifying, I still can hardly get to sleep. And if ever I will be asleep, I am still aware of my surroundings. I would always wake up so easily and will need to go to the bathroom to pee 2-4 times. Irritating isn’t it. Well, that you could say is a disorder.

Talking from experience, sleep disorders are not to be taken for granted as it could possibly affect a person’s physical, emotional and mental condition. I have always felt tired, even if I haven’t even started working yet. I feel exhausted and would always want to go back to bed and it’s probably the reason why I am not really a day person. I can sleep soundly between 4AM-10PM instead of the normal sleeping hours. But sleeping within these hours tire me even more. The day passes by so quickly and it’s as if I have never gotten a task completed for the day. This most specially happens on weekend. In as much as I wanted to clean the house every week, I’d rather stay in bed longer.

Ughhh, this needs to be checked. This might be the reason why I am feeling so restless for the longest time.

Good Friends Are Hard to Find

You bet they are :)

I was on the look out once again for the best acne treatment this morning when Tess popped in at YM and asked why was this picture not posted in my post for Iggy’s party. So here it is, friend. Just for you.

Tess and I knew each other in 2008. We worked in the same project and I was 2 levels below her though she never acted like that. We became friends being both mothers and trying to be good budget keepers (oh so far she has been the only one successful on this). I have always been bad about budget. LOL.

When she was rolled off from the project, we continue to get in touch and up to now, I look up to her if I have concerns, questions about life, love, kids and even about faith. She’s a strong believer and I wish I could be one too. Oh temptations!

One of the very few good friends I have made in my life, someone I could lean on, a should I can cry on and someone who will never push anything on me. She’s the one who can make you realize your mistakes just by listening. Truly, a wonderful friend.

Oh dear! I know I haven’t attended the mass today for Ash Wednesday, please don’t scold me :p

Unwanted Pregnancy Fats

Admit it, being a woman, you’d always want get back to your old figure after giving birth. We, mothers get to experience the most wonderful gift that could ever be given to us and that is carrying our children in our womb for nine months (less in my case). And we should all be thankful for that.

Though pregnancy is spiritually wonderful, it has a lot of complications too. You could just imagine your weight increasing spontaneously every week. There is this hormonal change that we also get to experience which could darken some parts of our bodies specifically our armpits and necks (oh, I had my fair share). We have to take vitamins and even medications while during the pregnancy stage. We have to take care of ourselves because it would mean taking care of our babies too. And soon after the baby is born, there is the postpartum syndrome, though I am not so sure if everyone gets to experience this.

After the pregnancy, we work out on getting our figures back. Some failed and some succeeds. Different methods, different lifestyles, all with one goal. It will be a difficult process. Really! And I envy those who did not even made an effort to get it back. As for me, I even tried using kymaro body shaper to get back that old look. I have heard of myths, easy to do, and other try it stuffs but I haven’t gotten the real thing.

Now, I have these unwanted fats, lurking all over my tummy making me feel uncomfortable and uneasy at times. Fitting has always been an issue and my clothes aren’t the same as before. Do you have any advise?

Good Looking Moms

Who says moms don’t deserve to look good? Most of what I heard from common friends is that when you are a mom, you won’t have time for yourself. You’ll only need to tend to your family’s needs, the house, the food, the laundry, the grocery, the budget, the school. All of it. Won’t we ever get tired of all these things?

Moms are also individual human beings. Yes, we take care of our family but I think taking care of our family means we have to take care of ourselves too. To happily server your family to be personally happy and contented. And yes, we deserve to look good and feel good. We need time to rest and be with our friends or just ourselves to unwind and relax. This way, we can still be beautiful despite the age and the number of children. Well, the only thing I don’t like about aging is that I constantly need to apply adult acne solutions to avoid pimple outbreak.

It’s never too late and we are never too old to be beautiful. Being happy with ourselves will help us feel fulfilled and contented with our lives. Looking good is feeling good.
