Without Washing Machine

After almost 5 years of being married, this will be our first time to live without our good old washing machine. It has been with us since 2004 and it’s a pity that it already broke. Well, it has served us for almost 5 years so I guess it just really needs to retire.

So how are we after losing the washing machine? Off to the laundry shop! My sister-in-law and the nanny can no longer do the manual washing of clothes. We have quite a lot and I believe that the kids must be their priority when we are not around. So I did not ask them to manually do the laundry anymore.

Now, I have to visit the laundry shop at least once a week to deliver our stuffs and get them by middle of the week. The clothes are now cleaner and smelling fresh. Hubby is no longer complaining!

But will this be for good? 2 weeks have already passed but I am already feeling the burden of paying for the laundry. I still haven’t noticed any change on our electricity and I wanted to observe. If that will be the same thing, I might as well consider having it done on the shop than at home. But if not, we’ll have to go get a new one.

What do you think?

This is not really practical for me mummie, why not look for someone who can fix your old washing machine or set aside a budget to buy a new washing machine. Besides, you don’t really know how the laundry shop wash your clothes, don’t be deceive by the smell hehehehe… newi, just my one cent ;)

    Have a great week!
