It has been 15 days since the Wii unit has been bought and played on by the kids. As a parent I find the game console amusing as it provides a different feel on playing video games. Hubby has been a gamer since childhood and he says this is a very different than the other consoles.
We let our daughters play with it themselves (with assistance from their aunt and their yaya of course ). We do check on them form time to time and I could say they have adopted to the way the wii was played. They almost request to play it all the time, and most of the time we can’t say “no’. And this makes me think, am I doing things right? I remember writing a post about not having to say “Yes” to every request and now, I am having this dilemma. I haven’t seen the kids so eager at playing before and it worries me that someday I might have to regret it.
Will this Wii be really good for them?

We have a Wii for the house, and my grandson lives it. His parents love video games, so he is used to playing them and at least the Wii gets him off his butt to play.
hi jim – well to be honest, it helps me get them busy while i am working at home too
guess i need to set a little boundaries so they won’t abuse it
