The Nanny is Leaving

  • Sharebar

She went out last Saturday and told everyone in the house that she’s going on a date and it’s her boyfriend’s birthday. I agreed because she’s been good with my kids and I can’t complain about her work. Besides, she needs a day off too!

She promised she will not come home on Saturday so I was expecting her to arrive on Sunday – but she didn’t. Come Monday morning, she still hasn’t come home. I filed a leave from work because my sister-in-law cannot handle 2 naughty kids while taking care of the house, food, laundry. Tuesday, she still hasn’t come home and we are all worried as to what has happened to her. I tried contacting her mobile phone but both numbers are unattended.  I’ve even reached out to some of her relatives so I can get in touch with her parents.

Then while drafting this post, I received a message from her – she said she’ll be living with her bf. I was in awe. But I couldn’t do anything and told her that I need to talk to her parents to let them know she’s leaving.

Sigghhh – I need to find a replacement soon :(

I will be also needing one since our helper will already go home to their province on the first week of December. This is really tough because it is hard to find a helper that is trustworthy, good in their job and will stay for good with us.

Check out http://www.nannies4hire.com. We hired our current nanny : from their site and love her. We couldn’t have found a better match for our family.
