Ezy Roller

I came across Posylane again today and I saw some good gift ideas again. As you know, I’ve already recommended their nap mats and they are really beautiful. Now, they even have personalized pillowcases that you will surely love!

And you know what I think would be a perfect gift for the kids this Christmas? Tada!!! An Ezy Roller! Look at this.

They have long been asking me for a bike and my sister got one for each of the twins. Unfortunately, it’s now broken. I think this will be one beautiful gift to receive this Christmas.

You think they will love it?

The Nanny is Leaving

She went out last Saturday and told everyone in the house that she’s going on a date and it’s her boyfriend’s birthday. I agreed because she’s been good with my kids and I can’t complain about her work. Besides, she needs a day off too!

She promised she will not come home on Saturday so I was expecting her to arrive on Sunday – but she didn’t. Come Monday morning, she still hasn’t come home. I filed a leave from work because my sister-in-law cannot handle 2 naughty kids while taking care of the house, food, laundry. Tuesday, she still hasn’t come home and we are all worried as to what has happened to her. I tried contacting her mobile phone but both numbers are unattended.  I’ve even reached out to some of her relatives so I can get in touch with her parents.

Then while drafting this post, I received a message from her – she said she’ll be living with her bf. I was in awe. But I couldn’t do anything and told her that I need to talk to her parents to let them know she’s leaving.

Sigghhh – I need to find a replacement soon :(

Without Washing Machine

After almost 5 years of being married, this will be our first time to live without our good old washing machine. It has been with us since 2004 and it’s a pity that it already broke. Well, it has served us for almost 5 years so I guess it just really needs to retire.

So how are we after losing the washing machine? Off to the laundry shop! My sister-in-law and the nanny can no longer do the manual washing of clothes. We have quite a lot and I believe that the kids must be their priority when we are not around. So I did not ask them to manually do the laundry anymore.

Now, I have to visit the laundry shop at least once a week to deliver our stuffs and get them by middle of the week. The clothes are now cleaner and smelling fresh. Hubby is no longer complaining!

But will this be for good? 2 weeks have already passed but I am already feeling the burden of paying for the laundry. I still haven’t noticed any change on our electricity and I wanted to observe. If that will be the same thing, I might as well consider having it done on the shop than at home. But if not, we’ll have to go get a new one.

What do you think?

Wiill It Be For Good?

It has been 15 days since the Wii unit has been bought and played on by the kids. As a parent I find the game console amusing as it provides a different feel on playing video games. Hubby has been a gamer since childhood and he says this is a very different than the other consoles.

We let our daughters play with it themselves (with assistance from their aunt and their yaya of course ). We do check on them form time to time and I could say they have adopted to the way the wii was played. They almost request to play it all the time, and most of the time we can’t say “no’.  And this makes me think, am I doing things right? I remember writing a post about not having to say “Yes” to every request and now, I am having this dilemma. I haven’t seen the kids so eager at playing before and it worries me that someday I might have to regret it.

Will this Wii be really good for them?
