Hands-on Mom

  • Sharebar

Tomorrow, our Holy Week long vacation will be over and we will be going back to work. We never went to any beach nor to any summer spot to have a special vacation spree. The family just stayed home but I made sure it will be worthwhile.

While at home, I became a hands-on mom, for a change. When working, I seldom to the chores during weekends because I am already pretty tired of work. But this week, I made sure that I will do things first hand (except the laundry :) ). I go to market, cook the food, bathe with the kids, eat with them and all those mommy tasks that I do not regularly do. Yes, I had super quality time with the kids and I can see happiness on their faces. Being with them after work was not the same as being with them throughout the day and I am happy I was able to make up for the times I missed. At night, after they fall into sleep, I do some scraps and entered a few challenges. Lookie lookie. I can still have some time for my hobby eh :)

Really nice scraps, Mye. I always admire Moms who manage to do pretty little things like this.
